GFRP
Pultra fiberglass reinforced polymer bar is a type of reinforcement. Polymer resins enhance resistance against environmental and chemical effects, while glass fibers provide structural strength and act as binders. Compared to traditional steel reinforcements, it has 2-3 times higher tensile strength, is lighter than steel, and offers easier handling.
Areas of Application
Tunnels • Soft Eye Structures • Bored Piles • Diaphragm Walls • Temporary Structures • Precast Segments • Lining Concretes |
Horizontal Elements • Field Concretes • Bridge Decks • Salt Depots • Swimming Pools • Breakwaters • Port Structures |
Advantages
• Non-corrosive
• Has 2-3 times higher tensile strength than steel reinforcements
• Due to its corrosion-resistant composition, it has a longer lifespan
• Much lighter than steel reinforcements
• Non-conductive, meaning it lacks electrical conductivity
• Easy to install
