Foams

ANTI ABRASION FOAM

Anti abrasion foam is a liquid foam agent used as a wear-preventive and dust-removing agent in hard rock tunnels and mines with a high concentration of hard rock.

Areas of Use

• Soft ground tunnels excavated with TBM.

• Dust-removing agent in hard rock tunnels.

• Prevents wear of cutting elements in hard rock soils.

Advantages

• Reduces wear on cutting elements.

• Extends the service life of cutting edges.

• Facilitates easier cooling of cutting edges.

• Specially developed for ground conditioning in RAF-100 shielded TBM excavations.

• Reduces permeability, enhances surface insulation.

• Creates plastic deformation in the soil, thereby increasing stability on the surface, providing balanced and controllable pressure.

• Provides lower internal friction and wear on cutting edges. This reduces energy consumption, lowers wear costs, and facilitates soil discharge.

• Reduces soil adhesion that causes blockage issues.

ANTI CLAY FOAM

Anti clay foam is a liquid foam agent used as a ground conditioner and dust-removing agent in soils with a high concentration of clay, typically in hard rock tunnels and mines.

Areas of Use

• Soft ground tunnels excavated with TBM.

• Dust-removing agent in hard rock tunnels.

• Prevents clay blockage in clay soils.

Advantages

• Improves soil behavior.

• Facilitates easier soil discharge.

• Environmentally friendly.

CPF 150 prevents clay blockage and conditions the soil for TBM. When mixed with soil, it generally provides the following benefits:

• Reduces permeability, enhances surface insulation.

• Creates plastic deformation in the soil, thereby increasing stability on the surface, providing balanced and controllable pressure.

• Provides lower internal friction and wear on cutting edges. This reduces energy consumption, lowers wear costs, and facilitates soil discharge.

• Reduces soil adhesion that causes blockage issues.

STANDARD FOAM

Standard foam is a liquid foam agent used as a ground conditioner and dust-removing agent in mixed soils, typically in hard rock tunnels and mines.

Areas of Use

• Soft ground tunnels excavated with TBM.

• Dust-removing agent in hard rock tunnels.

• For higher excavation speed (up to 35%).

• For high-performance foam needs to quickly disintegrate the soil.

Advantages

• Improves soil behavior.

• Facilitates easier soil discharge.

• Environmentally friendly.

• Decreases torque and thrust loads.

  1. Very low dosage usage.
  2. Excellent permeability.
  3. Up to 30% lower excavation rate.
  4. CF value below 2%.
  5. Protection of metal parts from corrosion and reduction in maintenance costs.

• Reduces permeability, enhances surface insulation.

• Creates plastic deformation in the soil, thereby increasing stability on the surface, providing balanced and controllable pressure.

• Provides lower internal friction and wear on cutting edges. This reduces energy consumption, lowers wear costs, and facilitates soil discharge.

• Reduces soil adhesion that causes blockage issues.

FOAM FOR SOFT GROUNDS

It is a high-content polymeric foam agent.

When encountering surfaces with high water content, in conditions where high water content is present, CPF (Clay Dispersant Foam) group foam is used in conjunction with TBM machines for soil conditioning. It helps to gel the water and extract it.
